Battery Powered Surgical Light

battery light Whether it’s a hurricane in Florida or rolling blackouts in the Middle East, generators have limited capabilities. The FMI-301FB will run off it’s own lead-acid battery for 6 hours. The base is made of 14 gauge, powder coated steel and the lamp’s suspension allows for fingertip control and secure, drift-free positioning.

The FMI-301 FB gives you the same color-correct, shadow-reduced illumination as a full-sized surgical light, but with a rugged design better suited to the field or theater of operation.

It was designed to work anywhere in the world and has an internal “smart” circuit that automatically adjusts for 110-220VAC or 24VDC.

The 50,000 lux, color-corrected to 4500K, provides for accurate tissue differentiation and diagnosis.

The light has 27” depth of field and 5.5” field diameter and has been optimized for shadow reduction. The sealed light head keeps contaminates out and the quick, tool-free bulb exchange makes bulb replacement simple.

It has been designed with extremely low heat emission and drift-free suspension and has been used successfully in Afganistan
and Iraq since 2003. It was assigned NSN 6530-01-518-9854 by the DOD.
